Storage Management - Air supply for fast refills
 Storage tanks are frequently used to provide extra filling capacity during peak perods. The storage cylinders can either be opened "all at once" in a single pressure stage, or "cascaded" into the cylinders to be filled, usually in 3 stages. Ideally the storage pressure should be higher than the filling pressure, 300 bar storage systems are the most common. The storage systems can be used with most compressors and are best suited for automatic operation (eg ECC or auto start option).
L&W has a full range of storage modules up to 105m3 each of which can be combined with other modules for individual configuration. The L&W cascade management panels are availble in 1, 2, 3 and 4 stage versions. Consult us with your filling requirements.

Auto Filling Selectors, an intelligent solution from L&W
Some filling stations prefer uncomplicated, but fast filling operations. Simply attach the cylinders to the filling panel and the L&W auto filling selector fills the cylinders and then refills the storage when there are no more cylinders to be filled. Fast intelligent filling. Ideal for filling stations where non-technical staff are the operators.
The Auto filling selectors are available in a pneumatic version (Storage pressure min 30 bar above filling pressure) or an electronic pneumatic version (storage pressure = filling pressure)
